Odessa sweeps player of the week honors

Corpus Christi, TX: Though very evenly matched versus CenTex, two Odessa Roughnecks players were able to earn the votes need to be awarded both the Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week. The Odessa Roughnecks edged the CenTex Barracudas by a score of 63-59 where wide receiver Derin Graham caught 13 passes and the Offensive Player of the Week award. Graham advanced for 164 yards and four touchdowns in the contest.
Equally impressive, defensive back Aaron Dunklin had three interceptions as he worked his way into the IFL Defensive Player of the Week honors. Dunklin added three tackles in his first ever opportunity to play in a Roughnecks uniform.
Three games will once again thrill fans around the IFL this week with Odessa Hosting the same CenTex Barracudas on Saturday, June 10th, and Louisiana visiting Laredo along with San Angelo traveling to Corpus Christi for a pair of Sunday matinees on June 11th.
