ONE STREAK WILL END

The Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees wrap up a three-in-three weekend and a span of seven games in ten nights tonight hosting the Odessa Jackalopes, which opens up a three game home stand for the Killer Bees. Both teams are seeking a win to get on the winning track. The Jackalopes have just won one game in their last ten and are riding in on an eight game winless streak, while the Killer Bees are seeking to end a three game winless streak. The Bees are looking for a victory to move one standing-point behind second place Austin in the Southeast Division standings. Austin will have a game-in-hand over the Killer Bees after tonight, as the Ice Bats are off tonight.

THE SERIES

This is the first ever meeting between these two squads and the first of four this season. The Killer Bees and Odessa will meet again on January 27th in Odessa.

As mentioned, these teams have never played each other and meet each other tonight for the first time.

Both the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees and the Odessa Jackalopes list healthy rosters for tonight's game. Bees forward Troy Linna is questionable after leaving last night's game with an injury.
