
O'Brien Named To Team Of The Week

(Seattle, WA) â The United Soccer Leagues today announced that Sounders captain Leighton O'Brien was named to the Team of the Week for his two goal effort against the Calgary Storm last Saturday night. This is the third such honor of the year for the Sounder midfielder.
O'Brien, last year's Sounder MVP, is third in the A-League scoring race with 12 goals, 11 assists for 35 points.
The Sounders and O'Brien head to Texas tomorrow for their match against the El Paso Patriots Thursday evening. They round out the regular season on the road against Milwaukee on Saturday night.
