
NWSL, NWSLPA Resolve Arbitration for Upcoming Free Agency

NEW YORK - The National Women's Soccer League and the National Woman's Soccer League Players Association today announced they have reached a resolution to avoid arbitration over the league's upcoming free agency in 2023.
There are eight players who would have been impacted by arbitration who are now eligible to enter free agency following the conclusion of the 2023 season. The agreement was reached with the support of impacted teams.
"We're pleased to have come to an agreement with the NWSLPA on this matter and look forward to our continued collaboration with the players. While disagreements are inevitable, our collective interest in our league's success is universal," said NWSL Commissioner Jessica Berman.
