Nuggets and Outlaws Mascots Join MLL Championship Weekend

Boston - Major League Lacrosse (MLL) announced today that the Denver Nuggets and Denver Outlaws' mascots will be joining MLL Championship Weekend to further represent the host city during the illustrious weekend.
Rocky the Mountain Lion, the Nuggets mascot, has been a popular figure among NBA mascots and will be representing both the Nuggets and the NBA at the highly anticipated MLL Championship Weekend. With the NBA preseason for the Nuggets set to start two days after the MLL Finals, Rocky will be ready to show that he's already in mid-season form throughout the weekend.
Stix, the mascot of the Denver Outlaws, will also be in attendance for Championship Weekend as he aims to support the Outlaws who have had a playoff spot clinched since their 15-12 victory over the New York Lizards on September 7. The Outlaws will join the Boston Cannons, Chesapeake Bayhawks and Atlanta Blaze as the other teams that will be participating in this year's MLL Championship Weekend.
With MLL Championship Weekend and the end of the regular season fast approaching, Rocky and Stix will be preparing themselves for the exciting weekend that is quickly approaching. MLL Championship Weekend will start with Semifinals being held on Friday, October 4th at Peter Barton Lacrosse Stadium on the campus of the University of Denver with faceoff for game one set for 7:00 P.M. EDT/ 5:00 P.M. MDT and game two following at approximately 10:00 P.M. EDT/ 8:00 P.M. MDT. The MLL Championship Game will be on Sunday, October 6th at Dick's Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, CO with faceoff set for 1:00 P.M. EDT/ 11:00 A.M. MDT. All of the games from MLL Championship Weekend will be televised live on ESPN2.
