
Northern League Announces 2009 Post Season All-Star Team

The Northern League announced the members of the 2009 Post Season All-Star Team as voted on by select league personnel and players.
The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks led the way with five players selected to the squad. The Winnipeg Goldeyes had three players named, while the Gary SouthShore RailCats, Kansas City T-Bones, and Joliet JackHammers were each represented by one player. The Schaumburg Flyers did not have any players named to the team. Overall, nine of the 11 players also represented their respective teams in the mid-season All-Star Game on July 7th at Silver Cross Field in Joliet, IL. In addition, two players were selected for the second consecutive year.
The selection process consisted of each club receiving nine ballots which were distributed to any/all of the following qualified voters: Field Manager, Pitching Coach, Hitting Coach, Veteran and LS-5 Players, Club President and/or Vice-President, General Manager, Assistant General Manager, Media Director, and Radio Announcers.
