Northern Ice to hold fundraising fair

The Northern Ice will be holding a fundraising fair on Sunday, Feb. 22 12-4pm, Women's Club of Kenosha ,6028 8th Ave., Kenosha, WI 53140.

The vendor fair is a fundraiser for the team to cover the costs of hospitality for the upcoming season. Participating vendors include Pampered Chef, Mary Kay, Creative Memories, Discovery Toys, Avon, Gold Canyon Candles, Home Interiors, Tastefully Simple, Home & Garden Party, PartyLite Candles, Tupperware, a jewelry vendor, Longaberger Baskets, Stampin' Up, and Close to My Heart.

The players and staff will be receiving their championship rings and other awards on Feb 28 at 7pm (I'll get you the location soon). All the media is welcome to attend. This will be the first time these rings have been seen and also the awards. Team and the coaching staff will be available to interviews and morning shows.

The Northern Ice's media director is pleased to announce, that Play by Play Jeff Klien will not be with us this year. He just was hired by the Colorado Rookies. Bad lose for us. But we will need to find a new play by play person, a color commentator, and someone who can do radio commercials for us. Our games are broadcasted on WRJN. We are also seeking an experience person to do stats.

Other open jobs include sales (commissioned), volunteers for entertainers, concession, ect.
