Northern Ice Ansorge Breaks all Football Records

Kicker Laurie Ansorge,of the Northern Ice Women's Professional Football team, went 9-9 in extra point field goals to break the WPFLand NFL records. In a routing of the Dayton Rebellion (69-6), Ansorge was perfect in all 9 attempts. This breaks the record of the NFL, where Kicker Jim Bakben (St Louis Cards) attempted 9 and made 7 in a game against Pittsburgh back on 9-24-67. Three others have 8 attempts and many at 7. None have kicked a perfect game. Ansorge went 5-7 the week before against the New England Storm.

Ansorge, was born in South Bend, IN and Moved to Milwaukee in the early 90's to attend school at Uof Wisconsin. She played soccer for Winnona State University. She works as a real estate agent for First Webber.
