Nords Fall to Titans 7-3
April 9, 2021 - North American Hockey League (NAHL)
Maine Nordiques News Release
The Nordiques started off strong with an opening goal from Patrick Schmedlin on the rush in the first 2 minutes of the contest. The Nords would dictate the pace of play, until The Titans would respond to tie it. Isaiah Fox would give The Nords the lead late in the period 2-1 to end the first.
The 2nd period was all titans as they were able to score 4 in a row and take the 5-2 lead at the end of 2 frames.
The Titans didn't stop their scoring in the 2nd; however as they added 2 more to start the 3rd before Stefan Owens was able to power one home in his 100th NAHL game. That is all the Nords would get however and fall in game 1 to the Titans 7-3.
