Nords Fall to Rebels for the Second Straight Night

The Nordiques were off of a shootout loss to the Rebels from last night and looking to get back to their winning ways.

The first period was back and forth ,but the Rebels had the upper hands in terms of zone time and were able to get a few scoring chances; Gus Holt was able to come up with some good stops. The Nordiques also killed off a penalty 0-0 after the first.

The second period started with some more back and forth before the Rebels were able to find the back of the net to make it 1-0. The Nordiques were able to get a 5 on 3 power play; but would surrender a shorthanded goal and end the second, down 2-0.

The third period started with a Rebels goal 6:49 into the frame on the Power play. Around 7 minutes later the Nordiques would surrender another goal and trail 4-0. Tempers flared towards the end of the game and a power play for the Nordiques would come and go before time ran out and the Nordiques would fall 4-0.

The Nordiques are back on the road against the Maryland Black Bears before headed home to face the Bears again on November 12th at The Colisee.
