Maine Nordiques News Release

The first period got under way with The Nords looking to get another early goal but the titans had other ideas opening the scoring in the opening 5 minutes. The Titans would dictate the pace of play and add another just 6 minutes later and lead 2-0 after 1.

The previous night The Titans scored 4 goals in the 2nd, The Nords wanted a better 2nd period and they got it; they dictated the pace of play until the titans would find the back of the net again and take a 3-0 lead. Tristan Fasig would burry a 5 on 3 power play goal off a feed from green and Swift to stop The Titans goal streak. 3-1 after 2.

The Nords didn't get the start they wanted in the 3rd; as the titans scored just 11 seconds into the game and would add another at the mid way mark to cement the victory and the sweep winning 5-1.

The Nords go on the road against The Hat Tricks next weekend looking to stop their 5 game losing streak in the same place they last won a game.
