June 23, 2022 - North American Hockey League (NAHL)
Maine Nordiques News Release

The Maine Nordiques of the North American Hockey League are happy to announce the tender signing of standout forward Kim Hilmersson.

Kim is a 2004 birth year forward who is left shot forward who hails from Sweden. Kim stands at six feet and weighs in at 200 pounds. He is a three year veteran of the Seacoast Performance Academy.

Hilmersson has played on SPA's 15U, 16U, and 18U AAA program teams. He's suited up in 180+ games over the course of his career and registered 67 points in 67 games in the 2019-2020 campaign; and an impressive 75 points in 62 games in the 2020-2021 season. This past year he recorded 38 points in 40 games played; including registering a goal in the only game he played in with the SPA's EHL team. Their EHL tier 3 junior league team is the highest level of hockey they offer.

Kim looks to bring his game to Maine and to the next level. Being a 2004 birth year player Kim can really shine in the NAHL with the Maine Nordiques and beyond. The Nordiques coaching staff of Matt Pinchevsky and Kyle Warren look to bring Kim in to provide that scoring touch in the lineup that left with this past seasons age outs.

When asked about Kim, Head Coach Matt Pinchevsky said

"We couldn't be happier to add Kim to the Nordiques Family. He is wonderful young man and elite hockey player. His frame and power allow him to play beyond his age. We are excited for Kim to elevate his game within our program, and can't wait to get to work with him. We identified Kim three years ago, and it's amazing how things have come full circle. All the way from Uppsala!"

Please join us in welcoming Kim into the #MaineLand and thank the Seacoast Performance Academy for their continued support with our development!
