Knoxville Noise News Release

Knoxville, TN. The ABA Knoxville Noise held a press conference to announce the signing of two players, Chris Wiley and Jason Harrell. CEO Gavin Raiteri and Director of Basketball Operations Sterling Henton announced the signing of the players at an event covered by all three Knoxville TV stations and the major newspapers.

Chris Wiley played high school ball for the Fulton Falcons. While recruited by Dean Smith, he stayed close to home and played for Knoxville College and went on to pro ball. A 6 foot combo guard, Coach Gerald Oliver stated, "While Chris might be only six fee, he can play above the rim with the big boys in the paint."

The other player, Jason Harrell, is the older brother of Justin Harrell, starting defensive tackle for the University of Tennessee. He played in college for Coach Jeff Lebo at Tennessee Tech. (Jeff is now head coach of Auburn University). Jason is 6-8 and plays small forward. He played in the ABA in 2004-2005 for the Nashville Rhythm. "He is an aggressive defender that uses his long arms to cover the entire court," said Henton.

The Noise will play at Catholic High Arena starting in November. Tickets will be $10 for adults, $5 for children - with some VIP tickets available. For more information, please contact Gavin Raiteri at 865 740 7244 or visit www.knoxvillenoise.com or www.abalive.com.
