No 2009 Season Tickets Will Be Wasted
June 27, 2008 - Intense Football League (Intense)
Frisco Thunder News Release
FRISCO, Tex. (June 26, 2008) -- Season ticket holders always get perks. Frisco Thunder season ticket holders in 2009 get an excused absence and a chance to bring more friends to an indoor football game.
The Intense Football League announced its season ticket plans for its third season today, providing purchasers of the regular season package the opportunity to redeem unused tickets for vouchers for upcoming games as well as an additional four single-game tickets.
As previously announced, the Thunder ARE NOT raising ticket prices from its 2008 levels. Season ticket prices will start as low as $70 for a seven-game regular season.
The concept is simple. If you pay for seven games, you should get seven tickets.
``We understand that our fans may have other commitments and miss a game or two, but that's okay,'' said Thunder owner Jake Reed. ``If our fans are willing to support us by buying season tickets, we'll take care of them by making sure none of their hard-earned money goes to waste.''
Season-ticket holders will also be provided four single-game tickets to distribute to their families and friends. ``The trick has always been to get fans in the door the first time, once we do that, more than likely they'll be back,'' Reed said. ``In a way, our season ticket holders are going to be an extended part of our sales program.''
The traditional added values for purchasing season tickets will include:
* Admission to an exclusive VIP area as well as player meet-and-greets throughout the season.
* Free parking, game programs and online newsletters.
* Merchandise discounts and a free Thunder VIP "Loud Card" featuring discounts at participating sponsors.
* Priority seating for the playoffs and 2010 season.
* A lapel pin that comes into play during in-house promotions during the game.
* A free replica jersey for those who pay in full by September 1, 2008 (some restrictions apply).
The Thunder will return to a renovated Dr Pepper StarCenter for its third season after spending the second half of 2008 on the road due to construction. Amenities will include additional seating that will make a Thunder game one of the best experiences for both players and fans alike.
