
NLL Champion's Cup Playoffs Update
March 31, 2005 - National Lacrosse League (NLL) News Release
The National Lacrosse League has determined the following with respect to teams and the Champion's Cup Playoffs as the league enters the games of Week #14 this weekend:
East Division
Buffalo Bandits (8-5)- Clinches a playoff berth with a win over Rochester AND Toronto defeats Philadelphia.
Rochester Knighthawks (8-5)- Clinches a playoff berth with a win over Buffalo AND Calgary defeats Toronto.
Toronto Rock (8-3)- Clinches a playoff berth with wins over Calgary and Philadelphia this weekend. Can clinch a home playoff game if they win both games AND Rochester beats Buffalo.
West Division
Calgary Roughnecks (8-4)-Clinches the West Division title with wins over Toronto and Arizona this weekend AND one Colorado loss. Clinches a home playoff game with two wins this weekend OR one win this weekend over Arizona and two Colorado losses.
Colorado Mammoth (7-5) Clinched a playoff spot.
Arizona Sting (7-5) Can clinch playoff spot with one more win or one more Anaheim loss.
