NLL Announces Player Award Winners for Week Three

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

John Grant (Rochester) scored three goals and had five assists (3g, 5a, 8pts) including a power play goal in a 13-8 win over Toronto on January 10th. Grant also picked up seven loose balls.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Matt King (Calgary) allowed only two goals in three periods of play (total time 45:14) after relieving starter Curtis Palidwor, thus allowing Calgary's 10-8 come from behind victory over the Vancouver Ravens on January 9th.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Randy Daly (Vancouver) scored two goals and added three assists (2g, 3a, 5pts) in a 10-8 loss to the Calgary Roughnecks on January 9th.

OVERALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Ted Dowling (Calgary) scored four goals and added three assists (4g, 3a, 7pts) including the game winning goal in a 10-8 win over the Vancouver Ravens on January 9th.
