DURHAM, N.C. – St. Paul outfielder Kevin Roberson homered three more times last week to extend his league-leading total to 25 and in the process earned the Daktronics Central Division Player of the Week honor for the week ending Aug. 11.

Roberson, a 34-year-old from Decatur, I.L., went 7-for-17 (.412) during the week with three homers, six RBIs, a 1.059 slugging percentage and a .474 on-base percentage.

Twenty-five-year-old Elmira outfielder Rafael Alvarez won the Daktronics East Division Player of the Week award. He went 5-for-10 (.500) in three games, hit a homer and scored seven runs.

Joliet right-hander Rich Hyde, 33, earned the Central pitcher of the week award. He pitched seven scoreless innings against Winnipeg to pick up his eighth win of the season. He allowed four hits and struck out seven in the winning effort.

Brockton right-hander Rodney Allen worked eight scoreless innings against Berkshire to pick up his second win of the season for the Rox. He allowed only one hit while walking two and striking out seven.
