
Nighthawks to Take on League Leader Alabama Hammers

Knoxville, TN- The Knoxville Nighthawks (1-5) will take on the Alabama Hammers Saturday, April 27th at 8:00 pm EST at the Von Braun Center in Hunstville, AL.
The Knoxville Nighthawks are on the road again this week to take on the Alabama Hammers, who sit on top of the PIFL, with a 5-1 record. Last weekend the Nighthawks lost a tough game to the Louisiana Swashbucklers 36-27. The Nighthawks have been on the practice field preparing for a very talented Hammers team. The Alabama Hammers are the best team in the league. The have a great players from top to bottom on their roster. We will need to play a perfect game against the Hammers in order to have a chance, said Head Coach Cosmo DeMatteo.
This is the first of two meetings between the Nighthawks and Hammers during the 2013 season. The Hammers and the Nighthawks will play in Knoxville for the final home game of the season June 15th. The Knoxville Nighthawks next home game will be Saturday, May 4th vs. the Louisiana Swashbucklers. Kickoff is set for 7:00 pm EST at the Knoxville Civic Center Coliseum.
