NightHawks Preparing to Take On Hammers

Knoxville, TN - The Knoxville Nighthawks (2-8) will take on the (8-2) Alabama Hammers Saturday, June 15th at 7:00 pm EST at Knoxville Civic Center Coliseum.
The Knoxville Nighthawks are preparing for their final game of the 2013 season. The Nighthawks beat the Hammers, on the road, back on April 27th 53-51. "The Alabama Hammers are the best team in the league. They are a better team than when we first played them this season. We have a huge task in front of us. We want to do our best and finish strong and put on a great show for the fans who have been so good to us this season," said Head Coach Cosmo DeMatteo.
Despite the Nighthawks team record, they have been very competitive for most of the season compared to 2012. Some of the bright spots include kicker Armando Cuko, defensive lineman Deandre Brown, and wide receivers Rico Joseph, Charles Gilbert, DeAndre Brown, and Kelvin Bolden.
Bring (2) cans of food to the game and receive $2.00 off the price of tickets. Food donations will go to the Fish Hospitality Pantry of Knoxville.
