Nighthawks Ready for Hammers Re-Match

Knoxville, TN- The Nighthawks are in the midst of a three week home stretch this weekend when they take on the Alabama Hammers at the Knoxville Civic Coliseum on Saturday, May 5th at 7pm.
The Nighthawks (0-6) and Hammers (2-4) have taken the field against each other twice so far this season in the preseason game and on April 21st in Alabama. The Hammers have walked away with the victory after both match-ups but the Nighthawks are looking forward to showing how they have not given up yet.
"Our players are a tough group of guys and have definitely had a rough start to the season. They are still fighting for that first win and we think we can get it this week after making several roster movies. Everyone still believes that we can get that first win and make a run at the playoffs and championship," said Nighthawks coach Chris MacKeown.
The game on Saturday will be a special one for fans as it is the Pabst Blue Ribbon hat give-away and Knoxville News Sentinel Night. The first 500 fans that are 21 years of age or older will receive a Pabst Blue Ribbon hat. Fans will also have a chance to win an autographed University of Tennessee #16 Peyton Manning jersey through a raffle.
