Night Train Jump to Fourth in NIFL in Attendance

The La Crosse Night Train of the National Indoor Football League is proud to announce that its 4,349 average attendance was the fourth-best average in the entire 24-team NIFL and tops amongst non-expansion teams. The highlight of the season was a sellout (4,951) in the team's first game of the 2003 season on March 14.

Three expansion teams lead the way in average attendance leaving La Crosse with the best average attendance of any non-expansion team. Lexington topped the league with a 7,858 per game average, followed by Ft. Wayne (7,761) and Utah (6,438). La Crosse placed fourth just ahead of division-rival Omaha at 4,120.

La Crosse's average attendance of 2,396 in 2002 was 13th-best in the league last season. The Night Train finished 4-10 overall this season, including a 3-4 record at the La Crosse Center.
