NIFL Announces Players of the Week

LAFAYETTE, LA--The National Indoor Football League is pleased to announce the top players from Week 10 action, as follows:

Atlantic Conference

Tony Racioppi, Quarterback - Atlantic City CardSharks

Atlantic Conference Offensive Player of the Week

CardSharks QB Tony Racioppi helped lead Atlantic City to a big win over the Evansville BlueCats, 52-40, on the road. Racioppi completed 14-of-28 passes for 123 yards and three touchdowns. He also ran the ball of seven carries for 35 yards and three more scores.

Rachman Crable, Defensive End - Fort Wayne Freedom

Atlantic Conference Defensive Player of the Week

Fort Wayne defensive end Rachman Crable helped lead the Freedom's defensive efforts in a close overtime loss against Staten Island, 42-41. Crable was responsible for five total tackles, including two tackles for a loss, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery returned 25 yards for a touchdown, and one sack.

James "Rocco" DeMaise, Kick Returner / Kicker - Atlantic City CardSharks

Atlantic Conference Special Teams Player of the Week

Atlantic City kick returner / kicker James DeMaise had another outstanding game, as he not only completed 4-of-5 extra point attempts, but also had a good night returning kickoffs, yielding 107 yards on three returns as the CardSharks went on to defeat Evansville, 52-40.

Pacific Conference

Danny Ragsdale, Quarterback - Billings Outlaws

Pacific Conference Offensive Player of the Week

Billings QB Danny Ragsdale continues to keep the Outlaws perfect record in tact with a win over the Sioux City Bandits, 71-39. Ragsdale completed 20-of-29 passes for 304 yards and seven touchdowns on the night, improving the Outlaws to 7-0 on the NIFL season.

Leif Murphy, Defensive End - Tri-City Diesel

Pacific Conference Defensive Player of the Week

Diesel defensive end Leif Murphy had another solid performance over the weekend as Tri-City went on to defeat the Oklahoma Crude, 40-18. Murphy was responsible for 4.5 total tackles, including four tackles for a loss, one blocked field goal returned for a touchdown, two quarterback hurries, and two sacks on the night.

Adam Hicks, Kicker - Sioux Falls Storm

Pacific Conference Player of the Week

Kicker Adam Hicks racked up 12 total points over the weekend for the Sioux Falls Storm as they went on to win 68-9 over the Lincoln Capitols. Hicks, a native of Sioux Falls, SD, was a perfect 9-for-9 on extra point attempts and also completed a 28-yard field goal in the big Storm win.
