
Nick Catalano Announces Commitment to Augsburg University

AUSTIN, MN - The Austin Bruins, proud members of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are pleased to announce that Bruins' Forward Nick Catalano has announced his commitment to continue his education and to play NCAA Division III hockey at Augsburg University.
A native of Pewaukee, Wisconsin, Catalano joined the Bruins during the 2020-2021 season where he appeared in 36 games. During the 2021-2022 campaign, Catalano appeared in 61 games for the Bruins and tallied 13G-25A-38P. Prior to joining the Bruins, Nick played a season of high school hockey at Arrowhead High School (Hartland, WI) and was a member of the Milwaukee Jr. Admirals 16U and 18U AAA programs.
"Nick has really improved from his first year here in Austin," stated Head Coach Steve Howard. "He's a hard worker and it shows. He pushed himself to grow as a player and we are excited about his commitment to Augsburg!'
Augsburg University is a private university located in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The Auggies compete at the NCAA Division III level and are members of the MIAC (Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference). Augsburg finished the 2021-22 Season as the #3 Ranked program in NCAA DIII and was Frozen Four Finalist.
