The El Paso Chihuahuas trailed by a run in the bottom of the ninth inning Tuesday against the Pacific Coast League's saves leader but the Chihuahuas struck three hits in a row and beat Round Rock 7-6. The final hit was a two-run single by former Express player Brett Nicholas against Round Rock closer R.J. Alvarez.

It was the Chihuahuas' fifth walk-off win of the season and their second in the last three days. El Paso won all seven games of the homestand, sweeping both New Orleans and Round Rock. The Chihuahuas have won nine consecutive home games, and 12 of their last 14 games overall.
