New York Riptide Sign Halftown
Uniondale, NY - The New York Riptide announced today that the team has signed LeRoy Halftown to a one-year contract.
Selected in the second round, 20th overall, in the 2018 NLL Entry Draft by the Georgia Swarm, Halftown earned USILA third-team All-American honors as a senior at New York Tech in 2018. That season, he was also named the ECC and ECAC Offensive Player of the Year after scoring a team-high 52 goals and dishing out 18 assists for 70 points. As a member of the Onondaga Redhawks in the Can-Am Lacrosse League in 2019, Halftown had 30 points on 19 goals and 11 assists in seven games.
