New York Riptide Relieve Jim Veltman of His Duties

UNIONDALE, NY - The New York Riptide announced today that General Manager Jim Veltman has been relieved of his duties. Riptide Executive Vice President Rich Lisk will assume General Manager duties effective immediately.
Veltman was announced as General Manager in July 2020. Under Veltman's leadership, the team drafted Jeff Teat first overall in the 2020 NLL Draft and signed the NLL Rookie of the Year to a multiyear deal.
The club issued the following statement:
"We would like to thank Jim for his contributions to the organization and we wish him the best in all of his future endeavors."
