
New York Riptide Announce Broadcast Team for 2019-20 Season

New York, NY - The New York Riptide today announced the broadcast team for the team's 2019-20 National Lacrosse League (NLL) season. Dave Leno will serve as play-by-play announcer, Mitch Belisle will be the color analyst and Dani Wexelman will report from the sidelines.
Leno has extensive play-by-play and hosting experience with national and local broadcast outlets. He has been part of the broadcast team for the Philadelphia Union (MLS) for the past four seasons, serving as play-by-play announcer and co-hosting the pregame, halftime and postgame shows. "Leno also announces select nationally televised college basketball and football games with ESPN and broadcasts local and international matches with USA Field Hockey and the International Hockey Federation. During the World Team Tennis season, he announces matches for the Philadelphia Freedoms and New York Empire and has worked the US OPEN Tennis Championships with the World Feed broadcast team."
Belisle is a former professional lacrosse player who spent nine seasons in the NLL (2008-2017), where he played for the New York Titans (drafted 13th overall), Boston Blazers, and the Minnesota/Georgia Swarm, where he won an NLL Championship in 2017. Following his playing days, he worked as a play-by-play analyst for the Swarm during the 2017-18 season. Belisle also played 12 seasons in Major League Lacrosse (2007-2018) and was a lacrosse standout at Cornell University before playing professionally. Currently, Belisle is a partner at Trilogy Lacrosse, one of the premier lacrosse programs in the US.
Wexelman has spent time in front of and behind the camera with Major League Baseball (MLB) and the National Hockey League. Over the past five years she has served as a on-air reporter and producer for MLB, providing extensive coverage on youth/amateur baseball for MLB's broadcast and digital platforms, co-hosting a live, daily show on Facebook and MLB.com, and hosting a weekly podcast.
