
New York Knicks Legends to Visit Erie this Weekend

Erie, Pennsylvania, Tuesday, February 19 - Former NBA All-Stars Allan Houston and Larry Johnson will be on hand this weekend as the BayHawks square off against division foes Fort Wayne and Canton. Houston will be in attendance for both Friday and Saturday while Johnson will be in town on Saturday.
The BayHawks welcome the Fort Wayne Mad Ants to town on Friday night at 7 p.m. for Knicks Affiliate Night, presented by Penelec. The game will feature performances by the Knicks City Kids and the Knicks Air Elite Dunk Team. The Erie-Times News will give away fifth year anniversary posters.
On Saturday night, one lucky fan will have the opportunity to shoot and win a Dodge Dart, courtesy of Humes Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge. The first 1,000 adults through the doors will receive a voucher for a free scratch-off lottery card, courtesy of the Pennsylvania Lottery.
Houston and Johnson are both currently employed by the Knicks. Houston serves as the team's Assistant General Manager while Johnson is the team's Basketball and Business Operations Representative. As a part of his current position, Houston also serves as the BayHawks General Manager.
Houston joined the Knicks front office in 2008 following a stellar playing career, including two All-Star appearances. The sharpshooter ranks fourth all-time in Knicks scoring history and captured a gold medal in the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, Australia.
Johnson was the first overall selection in the 1991 NBA Draft. Prior to his NBA All-Star career, he made consecutive Final Four appearances with the UNLV Runnin' Rebels in the early 90's, including a NCAA championship in 1990.
