
New York City FC, Adam Nemec Mutually Agree to Part Ways

NEW YORK | New York City FC have agreed to a mutual termination of the contract of Adam Nemec, the Club announced today.
The Slovakian forward had nine appearances (eight starts) for the Club in their inaugural season in Major League Soccer.
"First and foremost, we'd like to thank Adam for his hard work and contributions to New York City FC," head coach Jason Kreis said. "We believe this move is best for both Club and player. We all wish him well for the future."
Nemec, 29, signed with New York City FC on February 2 following stints in Germany with FC Union Berlin and FC Kaiserslautern, in Belgium with KRC Genk and in Slovakia with MSK Zilina.
New York City FC would like to thank Adam for his time with the Club and wish him the best.
