Augusta, GA- As the GreenJackets head into town from Spring Training next week, fans will have an all-new online outlet to find the most up-to-date information on their favorite team and will hear a new voice to take them through all the play-by-play action.

Monday April 6th at 4 p.m. marks the launch of the all-new greenjacketsbaseball.com. The new website will allow fans to have better access to the latest roster, statistics, results and schedules, making it easier than ever before to follow Augusta GreenJackets baseball online. Fans can also find the latest ballpark promotions and will be able to buy tickets to the biggest GreenJackets games all season long.

"I think our fans will be excited to have this new tool at their disposal to follow the GreenJackets on a daily basis," said Stephanie Fish, Director of Game Entertainment. Fish played a key role in the transition to the new website design. "The site is easier to use than ever before and will be the must-see source of information everyday for all our loyal fans," she added.

Also the GreenJackets are excited to announce the arrival of Eric Little as the new radio Voice of the GreenJackets. Little, a West Virginia University graduate, joins the ballclub from the Asheville Tourists, where he served as the Broadcast Assistant for the 2008 season. In addition to baseball, he has past experience in high school football and basketball play-by-play and was on the call for WVU's appearance in the first two rounds of the 2007 NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament through his college station.

"I'm thrilled to be in Augusta and back in the South Atlantic League to take GreenJackets fans through what looks to be an exciting 2009 campaign," said Little. "The Giants organization always seems to send a fantastic squad to Augusta each year and I'm excited to watch these players develop and bring all the action to the fans, hopefully getting the chance to meet these same fans along the way."

All 140 GreenJackets games will once again air on WRDW News Talk Sports 1630 and online at the all-new greenjacketsbaseball.com. News Talk Sports 1630 is part of the Beasley Broadcast Group and offers news, talk and sports programming everyday, as well as Clemson University football and basketball. Every game will be preceded by a ten minute pregame show from the ballpark, hosted by Little.
