The Federal Hockey League is proud to announce that they have secured a new team for the 2014-15 season.
More information will be coming in the next few weeks and an inaugural press conference date will be announced.
The team will be located in Western Pennsylvania.
Tentatively, the first public introduction of the new team owner will take place on Saturday, April 12th in Dayton, Ohio at the Game 3 of the Federal Hockey League Commissioners Cup Finals.

Watch Game 3 FHL Finals at Two Steps on Saturday
This Saturday night, April 12th @ 7:35 PM stop down at Two Steps Downtown Grille and join the Danbury Whalers fans as they watch the Whalers take on the Dayton Demonz in a Game 3 Final Round Match up.
The Finals series is a Best of 5, the Whalers lead the series 2-0. If the Whalers win they will have won their 2nd straight Federal Hockey League Championship.
Whalers fans will receive 20% off their check in the dining room. Also be sure to check out the Happy Hour specials with $1 appetizers as well as the $5 bar sandwiches.
Two Steps Downtown Grille is located at 5 Ives Street in Danbury and is the Official Restaurant of the Danbury Whalers.
