Rio Rancho- The New Mexico Stars are pleased to announce the signings of two new players, Carl Winston and Jesse Paulsen.

"I'm excited to have these outstanding young men from outstanding universities," Coach Bramante said. "They have recently played the best teams college football has to offer and will add youth to our veteran mix."

Carl Winston of Washington State University is a four-year letter winner. At WSU, he played as running back, as well as wide receiver and kick returner. During his senior year in 2012, Winston rushed 85 times for a team-high. He also made another team best with 280 rushing yards and five rushing touchdowns. "I'm a leader and versatile player," Winston said. "I'm looking forward to bringing a different dimension to the team."

Albuquerque native Jesse Paulsen graduated from Manzano High School in 2008. From there, he continued playing football as defensive back for Oklahoma University. "He will add to the firestorm our defense will bring in 2014," Coach Bramante said. Paulsen is excited about the opportunity to play in front of family and friends. "I would like to bring my intensity and work ethic to help the team reach the highest possible goal," Paulsen said.

The New Mexico Stars are proud to introduce these outstanding players as a part of their 2014 season.
