PIKEVILLE, KY. - East Kentucky Miners fans will have an opportunity to gain added insight on their team thanks to a new online exclusive. ‘Ten(10) Questions With...' will debut on the East Kentucky Miners' official website (www.ekminers.com) Monday, July 21. The new feature will be made up of a 10-question-and-answer format. Team co-owners Jay Fiedler and Demetrius D. Ford and head coach Kevin Keathley will provide answers to questions on a weekly basis as the new feature will be updated each Monday.

"We want to expose the EK Miners product to as many people as possible and keep our loyal fanbase up to date on all of the latest news and happenings with the Miners organization as a whole," said Keathley. "This new exciting segment headed by Director of Public Relations Steve LeMaster is just another way we are setting the tone for the CBA. 'Ten Questions With...' will give added insight to the Miners team. I look forward to the questions posed on a weekly basis." Earlier in the year, video made its debut on the East Kentucky professional basketball team's website.

Keathley, an Eastern Kentuckian native, guided the Miners to a 26-22 regular-season record and a berth in the playoffs in the team's first season. The Miners ranked as the CBA's top offensive team during their debut season, averaging 110.6 points per game. East Kentucky set an all-time professional basketball single-game scoring record in the inaugural season, putting 194 points on the scoreboard in regulation March 2 versus Atlanta. The Miners defeated the Krunk 194-115 in the record-breaking game.
