New England Revolution News Release
FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - Currently tied for fifth place in the Eastern Conference following a shutout win over Chivas USA, the New England Revolution aims to make it two in a row when the club travels to Texas to battle the Houston Dynamo on Saturday, July 25, at Robertson Stadium. The game will be televised live on TV38 beginning at 8:30 p.m. ET, while the WEEI Radio Network will also carry the action.
New England (5-5-5, 20 pts.) snapped a brief three-game winless streak with a 2-0 victory over Chivas USA in its last match, as Shalrie Joseph's return from injury spurred the Revs to a pair of second-half goals. Houston (9-4-5, 32 pts.), meanwhile, is 1-2-2 in its last five league matches after previously going 8-0-1 during the course of a nine-match unbeaten run.
The Revolution has had success in its three previous visits to Houston, going 2-0-1 in three matches at Robertson Stadium and conceding just one goal. The Dynamo has been unbeatable at home in 2009, however, going 5-0-3 in eight games and allowing just three goals.
