New 2009 ABA expansion team to hold tryouts

Riverside, CA. A new ABA expansion team that will begin play in 2009 in Riverside, California (team not yet officially announced) will hold its first tryout camp on Saturday, January 10th and Sunday, January 11th at Riverside Community College, 4800 Magnolia Avenue in Riverside, CA 92501. Saturday will run from 9am-5pm, Sunday from 10am-5pm. There will be a $50.00 processing fee.
According to team owner Monique Flaherty, "We want to begin early putting this team together as it is quite possible that we will be able to fill-in for some regular season ABA games this season. So, this will be an excellent opportunity for some players that have not yet been signed to teams. We're developing a first class operation here and we're ready to begin.
