Nelson Frisner Added to Roster

TAMPA BAY - The Tampa Bay Storm added defensive lineman Frisner Nelson to the roster and reassigned offensive lineman Jamar Bass, announced vice president of football operations Jeff Gooch.

Nelson (6-foot-3, 290 lbs., Central Florida) appeared in 22 games for the Orlando Predators over the past two seasons (2010-11). During his time with the Predators, he recorded 22.5 tackles, 5.5 sacks and 2 pass breakups. Last season, Nelson led the team in blocked kicks with four.

Nelson prepped at Fort Myers High School in Fort Myers, FL, where he was a standout track and field athlete, placing first in shot put during conference, district and regional meets. He finished his collegiate career at Central Florida with 101 tackles, 15.5 tackles for loss, and five sacks.

Bass (6-4, 300, South Florida) did not see any game action this season.
