Needham Called To Kalamazoo

Richmond Renegades News Release


The Richmond Renegades today announced that forward BRETT NEEDHAM has left the team to play with the Kalamazoo Wings of the International Hockey League. He is expected to join the team in time for games this weekend.

Needham played every game this season with the Renegades (30) scoring 7 goals and 16 assists while accumulating 101 PIM's. He was also a plus 8 while playing wing on the Renegades most prolific scoring line.

According to Kalamazoo Wings coaching staff it is expected that Needham will remain with the Wings for the balance of the season. Needham will join former Renegades defenseman Nathan Oke in Kalamazoo.

The Renegades continue their road trip this week with games in Knoxville on Friday and Twin City on Saturday. They return home for three games in four nights beginning Wacky White Wednesday, January 30th against Huntsville.

Friday, February 1st is 2, 3, 4 and More Night sponsored by Graffitti Ink. The band, CONSHAFTER will be playing at various times through the night and for Skate with the Players after the game. Fans will need their own skates for this event.

Saturday, February 2nd is Ukrop's UVC card night, RIR/NASCAR Night and Scout Night. The Renegades players will be wearing a special racing jersey that will be auctioned off after the game.
