NECBL to Participate in World Baseball Coaches' Convention

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. - The New England Collegiate Baseball League (NECBL) is pleased to announce its plans to once again participate in the 2019 Mohegan Sun World Baseball Coaches' Convention, held Jan. 10-12, 2019, at the Mohegan Sun Convention Center in Uncasville, Connecticut.

The New England League will join a blockbuster lineup of presenters during the three-day event and will add its presence to the exhibit hall with a special league-specific booth for all in attendance.

The 2019 Mohegan Sun World Baseball Coaches' Convention will take place January 10 - 12 at the spectacular Mohegan Sun. NEW THIS YEAR, the convention will take place in the Mohegan Sun's brand new Expo Center which will provide more meeting, exhibitor and demonstration space.

The convention's world-class presenter lineup annually features some of baseball's top coaches and instructors - all recruited to help you bolster your coaching skills and gain new insights about the game. From Cal Ripken, Jr. to Don Mattingly to Jack Morris to Paul Molitor and John Smoltz to top collegiate coaches like Coastal Carolina's Gary Gilmore, Georgia's Scott Stricklin, Stetson's Steve Trimper, Virginia's Karl Kuhn, UConn's Jim Penders and Auburn's Butch Thompson to top peak performance experts like Austin Wasserman, Steve Springer and Eric Cressey, we've always offered attending coaches and players an unrivaled presenter line-up.

This world-class baseball coaches' convention attracts more than 1,000 coaches from all levels of play, features more than 90 exhibitors from leading-edge companies and offers more than 30 top presenters. Our presenters - major league coaches, top collegiate coaches, successful high school and youth level coaches to top performance specialists covering both the physical and the mental side of the game - are committed to offering sessions that will help you improve your coaching skills and make your team and your entire baseball program better.

The New England Collegiate Baseball League is a wooden bat college summer league that fields teams in all six New England states. Partially funded by Major League Baseball, the NECBL started play in 1994 and is enjoying its 25th-year anniversary season this summer. The New England League has sent nearly 150 alumni to the Major Leagues and has had close to 100 alumni taken in the MLB Draft in each of the last 10 seasons.
