#NebraskaStrong Benefit Night with Omaha Beef Football

March 18, 2019 - Champions Indoor Football (CIF) - Omaha Beef News Release

RALSTON, NE - Omaha Beef President Alex Reese announced today that the Beef will be spearheading fundraising efforts this week as they prepare to open their 20th season, with a regular season game, Saturday night. Omaha Beef will be offering special ticket sales through Wednesday, with $5 of each ticket going to help relief efforts, involving record Nebraska flooding just outside Omaha."We have always had a great community of Beef fans that reside just outside the metro area, and we want to do everything we can to help them out," Reese said. "Using our special online link, tickets purchased through Wednesday will have $5 given directly to flood relief efforts. We will also be collecting donation during the game."

Ice jams, record snow fall in the region and rapid melting along with heavy rainfall has led to levee breaches throughout eastern Nebraska, as numerous communities have seen devastating damage.

"The pictures and videos from the area have been incredible and unbelievable, to say the least," said Beef Owner/CEO Ricky Bertz. "The Omaha Beef are a family and we are going to do what we can to help member of our family and community during this serious event."

Omaha will open their 20th season, when they open the regular season Saturday against the Oklahoma Flying Aces. Tickets for the fundraiser can be purchased through Wednesday at Beeffootball.com/nebraskastrong.
