WORST TO FIRST: The Columbus Riverdragons won the 2004-05 regular season title with a 30-18 record, just one season removed from finishing last with an 18-28 mark.
MOUNTAIN REMATCH: Tonight's semi-final game between Huntsville and Asheville at the Asheville Civic Center is a rematch of the 2004 NBDL Championship Tournament final. The Altitude won that game on a last-second Antonio Meeking bank shot from the top of the key.
ALUMNI UPDATE...from Friday in the NBA
· Ronald Dupree (Huntsville) came off the IL to score 20 in 18 minutes
for the Pistons.
· Anthony Johnson (Mobile) scored 20 and had 5 rebounds in 32 minutes
for the Pacers.
· The Los Angeles Lakers placed Tierre Brown (Charleston) on the
injured list.
· 11 former NBDL players and five former officials laced up their shoes
for 12 NBA games.
