2005 NBDL CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT BASICS
· Who: Roanoke at Columbus, Huntsville at Asheville
· When: Saturday, April 16; both games tip off at 7 p.m. ET
· Where: Columbus Civic Center and Asheville Civic Center
· Why: To decide the NBDL Championship Tournament finals participants

TODAY IN NBDL HISTORY...April 11: In 2001 Huntsville was announced as the third city to be granted an NBDL team...the Mobile Revelers claimed the 2003 NBDL Playoffs title with a 75-72 win at Fayetteville, taking the best-of-three series 2-1.
TOP FOUR COACHES: The coaches with the most victories in NBDL history have their teams in the 2005 NBDL Championship Tournament. Asheville's Joey Meyer leads the pack with 104 victories in four NBDL seasons, followed by Jeff Malone of Columbus with 102 in four years, Roanoke's Kent Davison with 90 in four seasons and Huntsville's Ralph Lewis with 73 in three years.
TEAM POSTSEASON RECORDS
Columbus: The Dragons are 1-2, all coming in the 2001-02 semi-final series.
Asheville: The Altitude is 2-0, winning the 2004 postseason classic in as
many games.
Huntsville: The Flight is 1-1, winning a semi and losing the title game
last season.
Roanoke: The Dazzle is 0-2, getting swept in the 2002-03 first round
series.
