GATORADE STAND: The NBDL had a Gatorade stand set up by the side of the road to the NBA on Saturday, with two players getting the call every D-Leaguer longs to hear. Fayetteville guard Omar Cook and Roanoke forward James Thomas signed with the Toronto Raptors and Atlanta Hawks, respectively. The GATORADE Call-Ups were the 49th and 50th since the league began play in November 2001.

ROSTER SPOTS: There are currently 22 former NBDL players on NBA rosters.

POSTSEASON FIELD SET: The field for the 2005 NBDL Postseason Tournament presented by Delta Air Lines is set and play begins Saturday, April 16. Columbus will host Roanoke and Asheville will entertain Huntsville. Both games are scheduled to tip off at 7 p.m. EDT.

SERIES? WE DON'T NEED NO STINKIN' SERIES: The NBDL postseason is a one-and-done proposition. The winners of the semi-final games on Saturday, April 16 advance to play each other at the arena of the highest remaining seed. The losers pack up the gear.

TITLE GAME: The postseason championship game will be played Saturday, April 23. It too, is a one-game, winner take all.

RECORD CROWD: An NBDL record crowd of 7,029 filled the Crown Coliseum in Fayetteville Saturday night as the Patriots closed the regular season with a win over Florida.
