SEEKING ASSURANCE: Columbus can assure itself of a winning season, its first since the inaugural NBDL season in 2001-02, with a victory over Asheville tonight. The Dragons have already clinched their first playoff berth since 01-02.
POINT TAKEN: Tuesday was a night for point guards in Huntsville's win over Florida. The Flight's Jason Miskiri connected on 7-of-10 field goal attempts, scored 16 points, had five assists and only one turnover. Flame point man Smush Parker was 7-of-11 from the floor, scored 18 points, grabbed four rebounds, dished out five assists and did not turn the ball over.
NBDL ALUMNI CHECK...from Tuesday's NBA games
· Tierre Brown (Charleston) had four assists in 19 minutes for the
Lakers.
· Three former NBDL officials had NBA assignments Tuesday night.
ROOKIE COUNT: There are currently 21 first-year professionals on NBDL rosters, or 35-percent of the league's players. Roanoke leads the league with six rookies. The average age of NBDL players is 24.2.
NBDL QUOTE OF THE DAY: "I'm going to activate myself." Columbus head coach Jeff Malone told the Columbus Ledger-Enquirer following Tuesday's practice. Obviously feeling better, Malone is returning to the Riverdragons bench tonight after missing six games with a bad back.

TODAY ON NBA TV AND ESPN2: The March 12 edition of NBA Inside Stuff on ABC, a show that featured the NBDL and the Florida Flame, will re-air today at 1:30 p.m. ET on ESPN2 and at 2 p.m. ET on NBA TV.
GAME OF THE WEEK: Thursday's edition of the NBDL Game of the Week show is centered on the March 5 Roanoke at Florida game. The show will feature Roanoke players Seth Doliboa and Garry Hill-Thomas, as well as Florida players Smush Parker, Kirk Haston and Hiram Fuller. Lakers scout Irving Thomas will also be a guest on the show.
