I'LL HAVE A PIECE OF THAT: On the wings of 12-4 record since January 1, including a win at Columbus on Thursday, the Roanoke Dazzle is now sharing the top spot in the league standings with Columbus at 19-10. The Dragons are 7-9 since the calendar flipped to 2005.
CLEAR THE COBWEBS: When Asheville hosts Fayetteville tonight it will mark the first time the Altitude has played in nine days and the first time the Patriots have played in seven. Florida returns to the floor at Huntsville tonight following an eight-day hiatus.

BIDDING FOR 20: Matt Carroll is making a bid to become the first NBDL player to average 20 points per game for a season. The sharpshooter from Notre Dame currently leads the league at 19.4 points per game.
WHAT IF IT ENDED THURSDAY? If the regular season ended with Roanoke's win at Columbus on Thursday, the NBDL Postseason would look like this. Roanoke would be the top seed and would host Huntsville in the semi-final round. Columbus would be the second seed and host Asheville. Like last season, the 2005 NBDL Postseason will be a one-game sudden death at the arena of the highest remaining seed.
NBDL QUIZ: Can you named the only NBDL team to win both the regular season and postseason championships in the same season?
PENDING SUNSET? The Sun hasn't gone down on the Fayetteville or Florida seasons yet, but without a positive run it could start to lean that way soon. The Flame is 12½ games and the Patriots are 10½ behind the leaders. Both have 18 games to play.
