POINT GUARD PROWESS: With Asheville point guard Brandin Knight being called up to the Houston Rockets immediately before the MLK Showcase, NBDL point guards must have taken it upon themselves to kick it up a notch. In two games at the Showcase, Roanoke's Cory Alexander averaged 21.5 points, 12.5 assists and 3.0 turnovers, Fayetteville's Omar Cook averaged 9.0 points, 10.0 assists and 0.5 turnovers, while Florida's Smush Parker averaged 17.5 points, 8.0 assists and 4.5 turnovers.
GATORADE CALL-UPS: There have already been four NBDL-to-NBA GATORADE Call-ups this season, running the total to 43 since the NBDL began play in November 2001. With the completion of the MLK Showcase, played in front of 45 scouts from 29 NBA teams, more could be in the offing very soon.

REBOUNDING DUO: Florida's Hiram Fuller and Kirk Haston have taken over the glass through the last four games. Over that span Fuller is averaging 14.3 rebounds and Haston 10.8.
THEN THERE'S RODNEY: Even with Fuller and Haston gobbling up missed shots at a torrid pace, they are still trailing Huntsville forward Rodney Bias, who is averaging 14.3 rebounds over his last four games and a league-leading 13.4 for the season.

TWIN: "This Week in the NBDL", the league's weekly live magazine-style show airs Thursday at 9 p.m. ET on NBA TV. The show will replay Friday at 12:30 a.m. and Sunday at 2:30 p.m.
SHOWCASE ON NBA TV: The Huntsville-Roanoke and Florida-Fayetteville games from the first day of the MLK Showcase will be shown on a tape-delayed basis later this week. The Flight-Dazzle game will air at 3:30 p.m. ET on Thursday and the Flame-Patriots contest is set to air on Friday at 3:30 p.m.
