WHO'S HOT? The Columbus Riverdragons are 9-1 and winners of seven consecutive games.

WHO'S NOT? The Florida Flame has lost eight straight games since opening the season with a victory.

GOING IN DIFFERENT DIRECTIONS: Today's only game features the Riverdragons and the Flame.

CLOSING IN: With eight wins this season, the Asheville Altitude is closing in on taking the all-time lead for wins in the history of an NBDL team with 85. The team formerly known as the Charleston Lowgators, the Florida Flame, has 90 all-time wins.

HELPING HAND: Holding to the spirit of the season, the Huntsville Flight will donate a portion of monies from box-seat tickets sold to its next three games to Toys for Tots, Harris Home for Children and Christmas Charities Year Round.

CHIPPING IN: Led by Joe Shipp with 17 points, eight of the nine Huntsville players who played in last night's victory over Florida scored in double figures, equaling the NBDL record for most double-figure scorers in one game. The Asheville Altitude was the last team to accomplish the feat on January 21, 2004 vs. the Columbus Riverdragons.

MLK SHOWCASE: The MLK Showcase, featuring every NBDL team in six games over two days, is scheduled for January 16-17 at the Columbus (Ga.) Civic Center. The MLK schedule follows:
