
NBA TV Tips Off D-League Season

NEW YORK, Nov. 21, 2006 - NBA TV will tip off its 60-game NBA Development League regular season schedule when the expansion Los Angeles D-Fenders, an affiliate of the Los Angeles Lakers, make their national television debut against the Bakersfield Jam on Tuesday, Nov. 28, at 4 p.m. ET. This year's schedule will feature 20 live games, including five playoff games as well as the 2007 D-League All-Star Game, which will be held during NBA All-Star 2007 and take place at the NBA All-Star Jam Session inside the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino South Convention Center in Las Vegas, on Saturday, Feb. 17. The schedule also will feature the NBA TV D-League Showcase, which will present 12 games, including 10 lives contests, over three straight days beginning Monday, Jan. 15.
During the 2006-07 basketball season, NBA TV will present over 260 regular season and playoff games. The network's lineup features 96 NBA games including 60 in high definition television, over 50 WNBA games, 26 Euroleague games, and 34 Summer League games as well as a variety of exhibition games and international events.

The NBA Development League continues to develop talent from across all disciplines for the NBA's 30 teams. The D-League includes the Albuquerque Thunderbirds (N.M.), Anaheim Arsenal (Calif.), Arkansas RimRockers (Little Rock), Austin Toros (Texas), Bakersfield Jam (Calif.), Colorado 14ers (Broomfield), Dakota Wizards (Bismarck, N.D.), Fort Worth Flyers (Texas), Idaho Stampede (Boise), Los Angeles D-Fenders, Sioux Falls Skyforce (S.D.) and Tulsa 66ers (Okla.).
