The game was played at the Incheon Samsan Gymnasium in Seoul, Korea, and was the second game for the Generations team as part of the 2009 NBA Asia Challenge.

The Elephants' led for most of the game, but the NBA Generations team pulled away in the fourth quarter, when Thomas netted 11 of his 27 points, outscoring the home team 29-12 to secure the victory.

Thomas shot a perfect 12-of-12 from the floor, including 3-of-3 from behind the three-point line, during the game and chipped in with four rebounds. NBA Legend Dominique Wilkins finished the contest with 10 points and five boards.

"We played the game how we knew we could play and just had fun," Thomas said. "I'm thankful to be in a lineup with my NBA D-League teammates and guys that I watched play."

The Elephants, who were up by six points at the half and five points going into the fourth quarter, were led by Amal McCaskill's 17 points and Chris Daniels' 16-point outing. Kim Sung Chul chipped in with 15 points in the loss.
