NEW MEXICO'S TUCKER, EDWARDS NAMED NBA DEVELOPMENT LEAGUE CO-PERFORMERS OF THE WEEK
Shane Edwards and Dar Tucker of the New Mexico Thunderbirds were named NBA Development League Co-Performers of the Week for games played during the week of Dec. 13. Edwards and Tucker led the Thunderbirds to a 2-0 record on the week, both victories coming against the Reno Bighorns. In those two games, Tucker averaged 21.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 2.5 steals, while Edwards averaged 19.0 points, 10.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists. In New Mexico's 115-107 win over Reno on Dec. 15, Edwards, a 6-7, 220-pound forward out of Arkansas-Little Rock, who was in camp this fall with the Denver Nuggets, had a team-high 22 points and eight rebounds. Tucker, a 6-4, 205-pound guard out of DePaul, who has played with the Utah Jazz in the NBA Summer League, added 17 points in that game. In the Thunderbirds' 96-89 victory over Reno on Dec. 17, Tucker scored a game-high 25 points, while Edwards added 16 points and 12 rebounds.
CHARLOTTE BOBCATS RECALL SHERRON COLLINS FROM MAINE RED CLAWS
The Charlotte Bobcats have recalled rookie guard Sherron Collins from their NBA Development League affiliate, the Maine Red Claws.The 5-11 Collins appeared in five games with the Red Claws, averaging 12.0 points, 3.2 assists, 1.6 rebounds and 1.2 steals in 26.0 minutes, while shooting 40 percent from the field (19-for-48) and 84 percent from the free-throw line (16-for-19). Collins, who was assigned to the Red Claws on December 9, scored in double figures in three of five games, including an 18-point, eight-assist outing against the Springfield Armor on December 17.

Golden State's Reggie Williams tallied 24 points, seven rebounds and four assists in a win over Sacramento.
Chicago's C.J. Watson came off the bench to score 14 points in a win over Philadelphia.
