GAME 1 HIGHLIGHTS...top performers from Wednesday's games:
Billy Thomas scored 27 points and Sonny Weems, on assignment from the Denver Nuggets, finished with 28 points off the bench as the Colorado 14ers defeated Utah 136-131.
Ronald DuPree led all scorers with 37 points, while J.R. Giddens finished with the game's only double-double with 21 points and 17 rebounds.
ALUMNI ACHIEVEMENTS: A look at D-League Alumni in last night's NBA games:
Nine players with D-League experience competed in three NBA playoff games last night, two as startesr.
Miami's Daequan Cook tallied 20 points, hitting 3-9 from the 3-point line, and added four rebounds as the Heat defeated the Hawks 108-93.
Starting for Orlando, Rafer Alston notched 11 points in a 96-87 win over the 76ers.
